Titan Fenrir Evo CPU Cooler

The Titan Fenrir Evo is a very good cooler from the reviews I've read, so are the 2 Cookeh mentioned.

Just make sure it will fit in your case because these coolers are rather big, they may also block a ram slot if you are using ram with tall heat spreaders.

yh i was thinking....

anyone think its better getting a noctua or megahalems? over a ferir?

i mean....yh its £30 more (noctua) and £10 more (megahalems), but will there be a big difference?

sorry, didnt get what u mean =/

is that the cooler? or computer?

if cooler, which 1

He meant the temperature will be that much cooler than the Fenrir when PC is ilding and when its on load (doing activities like gaming).

Don't know which he is referring to.

Megahlems are very good coolers, as is the Noctua, although, as you have pointed out yourself neither are particularly cheap. £30 for 4 or 5 degrees difference isn't worth £30 to me - but the choice is up to you in the end :)

Thermalright Silver Arrow. It's the best air cooler out there and cheaper than the Noctua.

True or you can get Thermalright IFX-14 with 2x Akasa viper 120mm fans and it should give even slightly better performance than Thermalight Silver Arrow. This is what I am planning to do any way. The IFX-14 is the ancestor of silver arrow :).

Akasa Viper 120mm fan

The fans are excellent and run all the way up to 1900 rpm giving max airflow of 83.63cfm. Much higher than akasa apache fans and even those that come with silver arrow. :). It should cost you about the same as noctua .

I had the original Titan Fenrir which at the time was the best for cooling, if a little noisy. The noise did my head in and ended up going for watercooling.

Heard many good things about the Thermaltake Frio, think that's what I would get if I was looking for a CPU cooler now

I have a Titan Fenrir original version with an apache black on it for the money its a great cooler the only downside is that it will only take 1 fan

I ment the difference in temps between the Fenir to the £30 more Prolimatech.

The fenir should do everything you need, unless going for huge overclocks with +volts then get something better.
