I've just tried to see if I can find some religious stats for the commonwealth but a quick google hasn't brought any information up. However I'd suggest that Christianity is probably the third largest religion in it, after Hinduism and Islam, considering a large proportion of Africa (admittedly most of Muslim Africa isn't in the commonwealth) is predominantly Muslim.
We emigrated to NZ from the UK about 18 months ago and threads like this just remind me why it was the best move we ever made. Not because I think the UK is being ruined by immigrants but because there is such an undercurrent of resentment and brewing hatred.
IMO it has some concerning similarities to the situation that Hitler capitalised on in Germany, in that instance he blamed Germany's problems on the Jews, in this case the UK is slowly turning towards blaming immigrants and Muslims (depending on who you listen to).
I'm not suggesting that the UK will end up with concentration camps and genocide but it's hard to see how the likes of the BNP will lose support with the current media coverage on Islam and immigration. Ultimately if their vote share doesn't ever go down then at some point they will become a significant political force and that's certainly not going to improve the situation.
NZ is certainly not perfect but does have a huge advantage in terms of geography, 15 times less populated and our nearest neighbour is Australia which is seen as a more attractive option for most migrants. I often get asked about the problems in the UK and my response is always pretty similar, you can't blame immigrants for going there when they see it (mistakenly or not) as the best option for themselves and their family, after all I did exactly the same when deciding to leave the UK to come to NZ.
I agree with some of the other comments about people who leave the UK only to join a Brit base in another country, I see it over here quite a lot although for the most part Brits actually integrate pretty well. I suppose it's easier over here because it seems 70% of people you meet are 1st generation kiwis even where we live (well outside of the main city) so there is less judgement about where you have come from.

Meh, she is just saying what I think the majority want too or at least agree with but fear saying because of racist backlash!
I have no problem with people of any race, religion but I do think Britain needs to stop taking people in and in all honesty get a few out. I wouldn't have a problem if it didn't affect british ways of life but lets face it, it has done for a long time, nativity plays!!!
Britain is changing to support foreign ways of life but a lot don't seem to try and support the british way, I still can't believe the amount of immigrants who don't speak english.

What is the British way of life? Last time I checked, we've been invaded by different cultures and peoples throughout history. What's happening now is just a modern version of that.
The British way of life is many many foreign ways of life mixed together.
Anyone who rants about immigrants is just an idiot, since at some point in history it's likely that their ancestors were immigrants too.

But that's exactly my point. People didn't like it when the Celts came. People didn't like it when the Romans came. People didn't like it when the Germanic people came. People didn't like it when the Vikings came. People didn't like it when the French came. People didn't like it when the Danes came. People don't like being invaded, peacefully or otherwise, but that dislike of invasion but eventual acceptance and absorption of the invaders culture into our own IS the British way of life and will continue to be. Even as recently as the waves of immigration during WW1, WW2 and the 50s and 60s have impacted massively on the British identity. It's no good to simply decide now, after thousands of years of immigration, that suddenly we don't want any more.
And to suggest that history isn't relevant in modern times is really rather foolish indeed.
