Hi all

I am going to upgrade from a Q6600 to the AMD 1090T

As Above Can anyone spec me a half tidy ATX motherboard to suit this processor,I will not require SLI mode but i might consider a slight overclock if needed. Also i need new memory but i do not know what speed i would need until i have found a Motherboard.

I will be re-using with the new board:-

Zotac gtx 280 AMP
Asus Xonar D2 soundcard
Antec 900 case
Thermaltake toughpower 700W PSU
Samsung F3 103SJ 1TB
Western Digital 500GB SATA II 7200RPM

I would like to spend £90-130 on a board preferably, But what do you guys recommend please.

Also any tips on memory?

If you can stretch it, the Crosshair IV formula. Lovely board, overclocks great, looks great. I have it in my rig with a 2.8ghz 1050t Auto OC'd by the board to 3.6Ghz.

I didnt require SLI as I only want one GPU and I didnt require on board graphics so I decided to get a good quality motherboard but one that fits my needs perfectly

I went for the 870 chipset as this covers everything I want and is the latest AM3 motherboard chipset, I went for the Gigabyte version and its currently running my Phenom 965 BE perfectly as a gaming machine and only set me back somewhere around £85
