1, Demolition - i like objective based games that mean its more then just a run and gun affair

2, Domination - also a great objective based game but can be frustrating by people not interested in capturing the flags hence demolition in #1

Lease favorite is Search & Destroy as 90% of the games end up being a 1 life team deathmatch with little interest in the planting the bomb, its also very annoying that so many people run to collect the bomb then just hide in hope.

i do play the odd team deathmatch and if im in the mood some FFA but i prefer the objective based games as it gives an extra dimension and tactic to the game.

EDIT: forgot Gun Game, one in the barrel and sticks and stones, love all 3 (with gun game being #1) but im currently trying to unlock so im not playing many wager matches at the moment as i dont seem to be too short of cash.

So I'm getting fed up of going into team games only for everyone to play like it's deathmatch. I like some team play and tactics.

Any similarly minded people or is there a group of OcUKers who play together (im using PS3)?

haha, the knife rush seems to still exist judging by the machinima vids i've seen. You now the one, they rush at you, you unload a clip into them and they still manage to stab and kill you.
 
Starting to really get into this now. LvL 34 at the moment.

Trying to have games with friend is an absolute nightmare at times though. Really annoying
 
I would love to get into it but im just no good, I used to love playing America's Army and thought i would be ok at this but oohhhh its hard lol.

don't know about water.....but the other day i was playing Domination, this guy was capturing A, i drove the RC to A but this guy threw the stun gernade, which slowed down the rc, it was pretty much stopped

Do what the majority of crap (no offence:P) people do. Gaymore + Last Stand + a long range weapon with a red dot = you'll manage at least 1 kill.

Diving is a great addition. I ran around like a lunatic on Villa earlier diving through windows, over rocks and stuff. I got one kill diving over a rock (as if heading towards C around the back) as a guy ran towards me. Going to have to find it in Theatre and YouTube it. So much fun.

I've also find a class that's very good fun on Jungle and similar:

RPK - reflex + extended mags
2x Makarovs

Frags (could easily be Tomahawk though)
Decoy (lols with this)
Claymore

Ghost
Warlord
Ninja

Spy Plane, Napalm, Heli (the 7 one)

Just moving from point to point, hiding in bushes or amongst the walk ways. Block off points with claymore, use the spy plane and chuck a decoy. Had so many people fall for it - very, very funny. Would have been even more effective on objective games too I think.

/edit: anyone else use Decoys too?

You're obviously not silent with the LMG making a racket but it's quite accurate for headshots with the reflex on it. Picked up a WA2000 (is it?) and got a couple of kills with that too.

I felt very Arnie - shame I didn't have the 3-point reticule on! :D

Does anyone know what the M60 is like? It'd cost me c4000 to buy it and similar attachments, but seems far more powerful.

Slow movement, slow reload, slow fire rate, but it is powerful. I personally don't like it because by the time I get off those 2-3 bullets needed to kill someone they have usually emptied half a clip of what ever gun into me and I die 4/5 times.

I don't know if that helps or not lol :p

I play LMG in place of sniping as I'm useless (if MW2 is anything to go by) at sniping. In this case, it seems as it might be what I need as the RPK isn't always dropping people like I'd expect.
 
I'm using this setup and over the last few games tonight i've been raping!

AK74u + Extended mag
Dual wild Makarov's - never used them at all
Perks: Scavenger, Sleight Of Hand and Marathon.

Flashbangs Semtex and Gaymore.


Been running around the maps like a mad man going all lone wolf, TDM i'm managing 30+ scores consistently and around a 3.00-4.00 KDR too, loving it!
 
Just got this tonight, well impressed.

Not sure if I prefer this over MW2 yet, but the maps are great. Can't wait to know them inside out, as am doing pretty well so far. :)

spent SO long trying to work out, because he did the first one I thought you just had to cover him!
I was blasting away for ages waiting for the next waypoint but nothing!
Just finished the one where the base is covered in an avalanche as you leave, does the storyline get any better or is it just kinda Meh the whole way?
