I unfortunately somewhat agree. There's some rather bizarre cars missing, especially considering what's already included. Focus ST for example, but seemingly no Mazda 3 MPS or Astra VXR.

I appreciate they can't include every car ever, but I'm quite surprised that the ones I am looking for aren't on there.

More of a surprise is that non of the reasonably priced cars from top gear are in :(
 
So glad i ordered my G25 over a year ago in anticipation for this - the price for the G27 is ridiculous. just wondering whether to get a WSP... btw with shopto i have always got signed for delivery, but there will be nobody home when this arrives - is going for the normal first class delivery safe for most people?

No Mondeo ST220 or Insignia/Vectra VXR :(

But it's ok, there is a Nissan Micra :) :rolleyes:

That was a bit of a disappointment for me, too.

It's one thing getting good times round a track in a well sorted car but I was looking forward to doing the TG test track in a reasonably priced car.

It's mundane cars like that and mid range hooners ST220 /VX's which can make all the difference when you're bored of the 458s and the like.

The G27 IS expensive but it's probably the best. I had a rummage round the house and eBayed some old tech junk I hadn't used for a while to offset the eye watering cost. people will buy any old rubbish on the bay !

Now that I own a Fanatec, I'm kind of liking the cut of their jib..

They are bringing their well received more budget concious Porshe 911 Carrera wheel to the EU for December shipping..

£151 Shipped, and comes with a 6+1 shifter, Clutch Pedal setup and I believe the USP is the COnfigurability of it, with inbuilt ability to store several profiles, setiting deadzones and various FFB params etc, all adjusted on the wheel via the small display on the wheel. It's fully adjustable from 90 - 900 degrees (on the wheel setting)..

I may have missed this but is there going to be 3 gear options like forza? and if there is, will there be a big advantage for people chosing manual gears + clutch... just like forza?

I sincerely hope not :(

But without a few bits and bobs which come with the G27 like flappy paddles, helical gears and several generations of QC revisions and it's 'shipping December'

I just had an email to tell me that my G27 has shipped today, the wifee just told me that she's taking our son to the 'rents for a couple of days for granddad's birthday and to cap it off nicely the neighbours are in Hawaii for another 2 weeks so I can turn everything up to 11 for the next few days.

Time to print out the G27 fixing template, dig out a few 6mm stainless bolts and charge up me drill :D
