Was at the front of the queue ready to go straight over the roundabout, it is quite a big round about so my path was still a curve. It was my turn so I powered up my thighs and accelerated to about halfway across my path going about 15-20mph then I have to lean to curve round and exit ahead.
As I lean I'm still pedalling and accelerating when suddenly I have barely any resistance as I peddle, I peddle about half a turn and my back wheel stepped out about a foot, which considering my wheels are only an inch thick is quite a distance. Without thinking I shifted my bodyweight up and over to the left to try and pick the bike up which seemed to work, the back wheel re-gripped and i carried on going forwards, I didn't even have time to stop peddling.
It wasn't that wet either, a bit damp at best so I was a little surprised when I happened. Needless to say i went slow over the round about on the way home lol.
When I was queuing up there was a moped in the next lane going right, I out accelerated him so I assume he saw and thought I was awesome.
