Fallout Vegas on PC, Xbox or PS3?

ive had lots of crashes on the PC version, but that may have been because i had to try one of the numerous fixes to stop all the stuttering when turning.

My game crashes if I have the GX option on my asus sound card on
Turn it off, no crashes

The fallout 3/new vegas are a bit picky about audio

oops didnt mean to post twice

I completed Fallout 3 on PC first, then started modding which led to an unstable game and lots of annoyance.
Later on I completed the game again on the PS3 and I must say I enjoyed the PS3 version more, graphics wise it's fine and playing in the living room on the sofa was so much nicer than in the loft with the PC.

Ok so i downloaded it on steam on sunday, but i don't get what i have to do.

First of all i killed the 2nd guy i saw (not the doc) - this took forever because i didnt know how to switch weapons so could only punch - then everyone in that pub tried to kill me. After about 45 mins i gave up and restarted a new game. Now i've spoke to that girl, killed those big animal things, but left her when she wanted to make a fire (i couldn't work out how). So i headed back to the town, spoke to everyone, stole a lot of things, but i dont know where to go. i found a robot near a graveyard, spoke to him, he didn't help. If i try and head to the town i can see in the distance i always get killed by animals.

any idea where i am and where i have to go? Also, is there any easy way to swtich guns?

I think you can hotkey guns to the D-pad buttons (or keyboard buttons), I can't remember how, I think holding the weapon select button and pressing the D-pad button you want in your Pip-boy

I went through it on the PS3 and in 47 hours I only had three crashes (at loading screens) and got stuck in a rock in the far east area with the Power Armour! not too bad really but I'm going through it again on the PC and with the better visuals and awesome mods it really is the preferred choice! besides you can still use a 360 controller on the PC if you're that way inclined. :)

I have put 80 hours into the PS3 version so far, and it has crashed/froze at least 30 times :(

Even Fallout 3 on release wasn't this bad...

Strange that one person gets 3 crashes in 47 hours while another gets 30 freezes in 80 hours, both on PS3

My guess is Edz has a Phat one and Shampoo has a Slim, am I right?

Another question, did you guys use Hardcore mode and if so, was it annoying/difficult?
