What do OC mean by "B Grade" products?

Lack of original packaging and accessories, or just returned items that work 100%, manuals could be missing ETC, any combination really.

Usually shorter warranties as well. 14 days / remainder of manufacturer warranty.

I have bought plenty under B grade, still have a motherboard which is 3 years old, and still going strong. Was just the board, no box cables or IO plate.

Is the B grade stuff still good quality and in good working order then?

It should be, I never purchased anything from B Grade, few people from here have and most have been pretty pleased.

i've not long bought a b grade mobo to replace a dfi that burned out on me, it came with a just an i/o shield and manual but it's fine.

I bought a P7P55-M motherboard bgrade for 44.95 inc delivery, it came in brown box and nothing else, ive checked with asus and aparanly its under warranty till nov 12 so not too bad, shame it came with no i/o shield tho, it was obviously a rma as it had big sticker on it wether thats from the manufacturer or ocuk i dont know

This!But..

I ordered B grade motherboard here, came nothing but mobo and even mobo was wrong model,..never bought B grade since!

I brought B grade motherboard Had problems with it by the time i too it back to o.c several times it cost me more than a brand new motherboard in the end would never buy B grade again.

All B-Grade items are tested to ensure they work. They may just be missing accessories, or could be a manufacturer refurbed item.

Either way they all should work upon receipt.

Just purchased a B Grade monito based upon your thoughts people. It was the exact monitor I was looking at previously, only £46 cheaper.

Thanks for your advice.

How did you check with Asus to see if it was still under warranty?. Also do overclockers lower the price of the b grade stuff every few days if it doesn't sell?. I know another website lowers their b grade stock every day until it's sold

Cheers

I simply emailed them with my serial number and asked them, i also scanned my invoice and emailed that to them.

As far as their prices reducing im not sure they do

Thanks did your invoice state the motherboard was b grade?. If yes i guess Asus are ok with that? Also out of interest where do you return faulty Asus motherboards to?...UK or Europe?

Thanks

UK is in Europe, mate. It's not another continent, nor Asia :D
In case of any fault you send mobo to Glasgow (register mobo at Asus webpage first, buy RMA service for about 18 pounds and send it to some company the name I just forgot - guys from Asus service should give you link).. and then wait about 5 weeks for repair). I've done it twice, was OK.
