OcUK forum and firefox

Is it just me or does firefox never remember username/password even if you tick the box and hit yes to remember the details?

I logged in to OcUK once, about a year ago, and I've never seen the login screen since.

Edit: Using Opera, though.

Are you using the private browsing or whatever it's called? If so turn it off as it won't store cookies

No, never used that feature only once to try it out, but seems to do it on both my machines - not got any odd addons or anything.

Works fine for me. logged in once and that's it. using firefox.

You'll probably have FireFox to delete all cookies when you close FireFox.

Same with me for OcUK. Every other website I go to logs me in automatically as I want it to, however here on OcUK I have to type the first letter of my username and THEN it fills in the rest. It's only OcuK that doesn't take to the auto log-in through Firefox no matter how much I faff around with the settings.

The same for me. Though got two OcUK users using this laptop so there is two saved usernames

Might it be that? Or that you have remembered a different username with a typo in it.

Tools/options.....click on security tab and tick the box 'Remember passwords for sites'

I have no problems with login either using Firefox. I do however have problems with the "new posts" shortcut button next to a thread title. It never seems to work. Then again - I haven't actually tried it in any other browser either though.

it's just you lol, auto login works fine for me across mac and pc
