Moulin Rouge Costume

I am going to a Christmas dinner next month and need to dress up in a Moulin Rouge style.

I don't think I have anything that matches the style (I have some Indian outfits though), and I don't want to spend more than £50.

Can anyone recommend something?

Raid a close female friend/transvestites lingerie collection? Then get a feather boa and a top hat, bingo. Oh and gay

I went as the ringmaster - Harold to one before. Bought a top hat cheap, rented a jacket with tails, done

I'd avoid corsets and suspenders. Something tells me you don't have the legs for it.

Top hat, tails, a monacle and a fake moustache.

Would I be better off hiring the whole thing then? If so, from where?

I have ordinary suits and shirts, but that wouldn't go with a tail would it? :confused:
