Ok so what is the best 24" IPS that is relatively cheap!?

Probably the Dell U2311H, although that's 23" not 24"... the Dell U2410 24" is excellent by most accounts, but it's hardly cheap at just under £500!!

U2311H is £265. That's not bad for an IPS. It's an excellent screen.

Thanks mate. If £100 is the cheapest comaprison to a good TN panel - I may have to compromise and just go for a good quality TN.

Today I purchased the Samsung B2430H based upon your recommendation.

It turned up in the OC 'B Grade' products for £129 and some pennies!

Will do buddy. I'm currently deciding which OC computer system to pair it with so it may be a week or two - but I'll report back

Due to a slight hitch at OC's end - I have paid a little extra and will end up with the Samsung P2450H.

Obviously I'm a little dissapointed at the extra cost - but hopefully the monitor is so good it makes me forget bout the money

I'll keep you posted how I find it, when it arrives next week!

Honestly don't think you would notice a difference in image quality. And the looks of that thing were so appealing to so many people that Samsung kind of brought it back from the dead.
