This may be a silly question but how do you find out your account number for a Barclaycard credit card?

I don't get any statements - online only
I cannot find it anywhere on my online account
I have phoned up Barclaycard and they say they cannot give me my account number

A credit card won't have an account number, your account number is for your current account. Some cards carry this information, some do not. Go into a branch with your card (debit) and they'll give it to you. It'll also be ontop of any bank statement.

Ha really? I assumed there would be a 9 digit account number. Told you it was silly :D

Spanks :)

If you don't get paper statements, you can still log in to the online facilities with the 16 digit number on the front of you card. Just click the 'I forgot my membership number' link on the login screen and proceed as normal. Once logged in you should be able to find it for future reference.

Alternatively, phone up Barclaycard, pass the security checks and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to give it to you, they are rather helpful chaps and chapettes. :)

Thanks, I knew my online stuff and could log in, I was going to transfer to an interest free card and needed my account number - I assumed it would be different to the 16 digit one.
I actually phoned Barclaycard and they would not give me my account number - and they did not tell me it was the 16 digit one on from of the card :o
