So who's got a Windows mobile 7 phone and isn't happy with it?

I'm really wanting a Winmo 7 phone but cant upgrade untill end of next year :(

Anyone willing to swap for a HTC Desire AMOLED?

:D

Don't feel too bad... Your Desire is still one of the best all-rounders (too many features are missing from WP7 to make it the best atm and it's essentially the same hardware)

Upgrading this time next year will give you access to all the duel core monsters at decent prices. ;)

Well pleased with my Omnia 7 had Iphone 4 and countless Android devices but really liking this its fast and slick and looks good, flash doesn't bother me that much as I always disabled it on webpages on Android as I found it made the browser very laggy but it is coming to W7 so hope its better.

I would say with not being able to add memory cards make sure you get the model with the storage you need although the Omnia 7 has 8gb only 6gb is usable to add things the rest is for system/apps I guess, it doesn't really bother me as I only fill phones with rubbish when I have big storage and only put my favourite mp3 tracks on phones so only around 130 songs for me, all we need is a app to hide private things now ;).

W7 is becoming attractive to me, it must be said. I'm sick of fiddling around with Android and I have no desire for an iPhone. I already have a Zune and the hardware is looking better and better.

WP7 and Zune > iPhone and iTunes.

Its only going to grow in popularity to be honest when people try them, it feels so much nicer to use than the iPhone especially if you aren't 'clued up'!

When are phones going dual core? :o

Yep, in a few months
LG should be first with a Tegra 2 handset, then loads packing a Qualcomm msm8x60/Samsung Orion/TI OMAP 4 will flood the market.

It will be awhile before Winmo 7 go's dual core though :(

All the hardware manufactures can only use the cpu/chipset that Microsoft allow them so it's Vanilla across the board.

A really big plus for the app developers but not so good for the consumer

I guess if every phone uses the same hardware it makes it easier and faster for updating etc makes sense to me.

I thought it was just a minimum spec that Microsoft enforced. I would be suprised if they didn't allow better hardware

No they all have to use the exact same hardware thats why the Onmia 7 has a Snapdragon and not Hummingbird. The screens can be diffrent but all have to support the same resolution

Been playing with a HTC Mozart tonight and it seem quite nice currently bidding on a HTC Trophy sale of Desire should cover it I hope

I'd really get an Omnia 7 or HD7, following that an Optimus 7 or Mozart.

I'd avoid the Trophy if you can, unless you aren't bothered about the hardware and just want WP7.

Its funny the Optimus 7 is rated the best WP7 overall but I just didn't like it and I dont like LG :p
