I have a hot date on Saturday and I'm wanting to take her into central London for the day. I am wanting to park in a secure multi story or underground car park. I'm guessing an NCP in the City of London would be ideal as obviously it'd be quiet due to most of the banks being closed. Any suggestions?

I went to go and use an ncp near smithfield market when going to gaucho. Ended up parking on the road that comes away from there down the hill to the tube station. Free, and felt totally safe.

You can park on my drive. £20 for the day but I'll need the keys in case I need to er... move it.

Seriously the west end is your best bet, plenty of parking around but it won't be cheap

this one is pretty central, its an underground one about a 2min walk from oxford circus, getting there will be the main problem though.

I use this one from time to time when I go up into town at the weekends. The hourly rate is eye watering though.

I understand you're worried about the car, but if you're going up in the evening for a date (or on a Sunday) then you can park for free on the roads parallel to Park Lane like Park Street, or around Berkley Square. Good reasons for leaving it on the streets around here are:

  • It is only a five minute walk up to Oxford Street
  • You walk past some lovely buildings making it nice and romantic
  • The area is well policed due to the presence of places like the American embassy
  • Your car, with respect, will probably be the least desirable thing to a vandal or thief within a half a mile radius.

Also, just for your reference, the West End is no where near the City of London. ;)

Stick it in Brewer street NCP its right in the middle.

Right next to Berwick st market, best fruit in the west end.

I'm live pretty close to central London, For a small fee if you drive to my house, I'll then drive you and your "hot date" into central London, then bring the car back and when you call will pick you up again.

NOTE: On the way back my sense of direction normally goes so there might be a few more miles on the car then you'd expect so make sure the car has a full tank.
