Mum yesterday morning woke up and felt something was wrong all day , like something bad was going to happen. She kept on telling me that it was related to her in some way and nobody else.

Well My aunt is suffering from cancer and it's in it's second stage , left it far too long and had to have a very large visible lump removed. Last night she had a small heart attack and was taken into hospital , things not looking too good. :(:( Mum was rather upset and i put across this is possibly what the bad feeling was that something bad was going to happen.

But today i got a phone call from my mum she was shaking over the phone in her voice and upset. I asked her what was wrong and apparantly she was just missed by having a really nasty accident. Some bloke driving on the wrong side of the road at dangerous speeds took out the guy behind her , smashed his windscreen in and lots of blood. Mum's car was damaged on the side and wing mirror ripped out. If she was in the car behind i'd hate to think :(

Guy in the car left the scene , as it's close by i can hear the sirens. Mum is now down the station reporting it all. Please no more bad news

Focus on the positive. Both situations could be a lot worse.

A while back a friend of mine told me her mum had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and only had a matter of weeks left to live.

That sucks, but she is ok and will be ok (your mum that is).

Its amazing that feeling that you get, know of many examples where people have thought something isn't right only to then have something happen

I'm very happy that she is ok , i said to her "are you ok do you want me to drive you"? , " come over to my place to have a rest ". She said to me " Thankyou , you're the first person to see if i was ok "

Thankyou Morba and very true. Some animals are the same they can sense something is wrong , i really believe in this sort of stuff

Glad to hear your mum wasn't seriously hurt, hope the guy behind isn't seriously hurt either. Some selfish people out there, especially on the roads.

I've been told my gran is more than likely going to die soon. She's been in intensive care for a few weeks and they've more or less resigned to keeping her pain free now, there's nothing more they can do (fluid on the lungs, can't breathe on her own). She pulled through from this point not long ago but she went back into this state but now she's only getting worse. One of those things :(

Thankyou all , some good people on this forum ! Also sorry for other peoples pain and suffering :(

UPDATE : The police got the bloke who did the hit and run :)

Ah man that's not nice, sometimes we in life get **** weeks like that that kick us when we're down. At least you're at the end of it now and next week's a new week that will go a lot better. Good to hear they got that maniac, hopefully that will provide a bit of peace of mind for all involved.
