I honestly can't see the gf being too chuffed with this... I'll try my luck. If you don't hear from me ever again everyone on OCUK then she's killed me over GT5 and a steering wheel in the living room... You heard it here first..!!

I thought the same thing would happen to me too,luckily though my setup is in my breakfast room,and you will be surprised how little room the stand takes up when folded down,have fun.:D

Yeah I think what you saw was the roof cam. I couldn't see a bonnet cam anywhere in the smoke and damage video. :)

i know the wheelstand pro is decent bit of kit but cant justify the £90 price tag therefore i am considering the ***** setup below :D

I was sat here thinking "Bloody Hell..... What will I attach the wheel to?" So I check out this wheel stand pro thinking it would cost around the £50 mark..... Asking price was/is £100.

I would just hazard a guess and say that that will be way too flimsy.. you actually transmit quite a lot of force when steering left/right quickly and not forgetting struggling against FFB forces!!

If you want to have a cheap/ghetto chic stand, just make your own using some Wood/MDF etc..

Wheelstand Pro/Rennsport stands take the pedals and are built to be quite sturdy and easily folded etc, but if you don't need that, get the saw and drill out that dusty garage and show your manly DIY skills!!
