Most powerful mass production N/A V8

The most powerful one i've found is the SLS AMG with 571 PS, just beating the Ferrari 458 Italia with 570 PS.

This has to be mass production mind you. Stuff like this:

with only 15 built doesnt count.

Anybody think of anything more powerful that meets the mass production criteria ?

Thats dated 2005 and claims Mercedes 510hp 6.3 V* was the most powerful

But the SLS AMG features a new 6.3 that now produces 571 PS

Zonda has to be up there with 740hp. If a Ferrari can count then so can a Pagani.

Zonda uses a V12, was asking specifically about V8s.

Wouldnt be surprised if the Zonda was the most powerfull production N/A V12 however !

Supercharged so doesnt count. Anybody can get big HP by stuffing two mahoosive superchargers to a V8

I'd say to be "mass production" you'd need at least a 1000.

Wow, be careful there - that's a lot of cars! Lots of stuff you will take as "mass production" will not be produced in those numbers.
