I don't cheat at all, I can't even use the in-game editors/genie etc, I just seem to buy the same people half the time, as FM10 was easy to know the amazing ones :p

And it's Palace this time around, in my 3rd season.

I know I've asked you a few, but you know most were the ones that were good in earlier games and I was checking whether they carried it into FM11 :p
 
I just had the most stupid thing happen to me in the game. Mancity boss commenting how he wished to have the players and resources my wolves team have, i have won the prem for 3 seasons running but i never have much money not enough to sign the worlds best anyway. Cesc and ronaldo both on the transfer list 29mil each and i couldnt even afford one of them!
 
I'm enjoying the game (only just finished my first season though, not sure how you lot manage to play so fast or so often!) but there have been a couple of annoying things recently.

I wouldn't recommend turning off the highlights as the game totally makes the score up as it sees fit. The first time I did that, I won 1-0 but suddenly the game thought it had finished a draw. It was quite late, so I assumed that I had just missed the equaliser, but it happen again the next game when I scored a late goal to salvage a 1-1 draw (the text commentary even said that I had snatched a late equaliser) only for the game to try and convince me that I had lost 2-1 and had been 2-0 down at half-time! I won't be doing that again.

I've also had a bad experience with promotion to the Premier League. Despite winning the Championship by the end of March, the game flatly refused to consider me a Prem team. My scouts were still recommending average Champ players after the season ended and my chairman refused to release any new funds so I was stuck with £0 transfer budget and maxed out wages (I couldn't even offer my assistant manager a new contract) for the first month of the transfer window and was forced to watch as all my transfer targets moved elsewhere. It has really dampened my enthusiasm for the new season :(
 
Is it possible to manage Paulton Rovers in this game? Would someone mind checking for me?

Not in the default game as it only goes as far down as Conference North/South, but there is a mod out that adds in other leagues which might include Paulton.

This is very strange, i use the game with commentary only just so i get through games a lot faster plus i dont need to see my team score aslong as im winning :p. Ive only played as wolves so far only problems im having is winning a lot of things but not becoming world class and impossible to make money from other areas instead of just attendance's and cups. What team did you get promoted with? if it was portsmouth they are not going to give you any money to spend.
 
HAHAH !! Love it !!

I just had a pre-match conference before a game with Man Utd and I typed into the Additional Comments field that "I would really like to **** Fergie over in this match". After the conference the press statement thing said that I had launched into a stream of expletives and quoted me :D
 
Sorry in advance if this has been covered, but my search skills don't seem up to scratch today. Is there a bug that prevents you from releasing media statements about individual players? The only interaction I can have with a player is privately, or set nickname, make notes.

Anyone think they've got the refs tuned wrong in this game? Seems far too easy to get red cards, I've just reached the half way point of the Serie A season and there are.....seventy five red cards. That seems way to high to me :confused: I mean there have only been 26 reds irl in the EPL so far this year from 6 less games!

Just an update on this, up to 116 red cards now with 8 games to go, this is just ridiculous, two teams with over ten red cards!!
