Well hows this for Customer Service, my MX518 developed a fault Lefthandbutton, e-mailed Logitech telling them of my faulty MX518. To cut the storey short with in 48hrs a new MX518 is on it's way to replace my faulty one...:)

Have often seen member's praising Logtech, well they definitely have my Vote.....:D

Yes I recently swapped my mouse for an MX518 and I've already got some of their desktop speakers and I use logitech headsets for my laptop etc...

Their stuff isn't the cheapest but they do get good reports for customer care. However never used it yet, everything I've got works perfectly fine, and damn good stuff it is too...

But then, logitech have always produced fairly decent products..

Only gripe with the logitech stuff.. the buttons don't seem to last :-( I very much like using the MX5xx type mice though.

A few months back my Logitech z5400 speakers came to fault as the display would constantly flicker. Emailed them, found out it was out of warranty by a year and 5 days.. woopsies... but they offered me the z5500 set for a third of the price saying had my z5400's been in warranty they would have replaced them with the z5500's any way so can offer me such a cheap price. I was amazed tbh.

I do like Logitech as a company also.

Some of the best customer service I've received though was from Microsoft - my Habu Razer mouse had developed a fault but it wasn't listed as a product to return on the UK website, so I contacted the US division instead and they shipped me a brand new one all the way from the US without even asking for the faulty one back or for any evidence of its problems. :)

That's very good, haven't really dealt with Microsoft apart from Xbox 360 and they weren't too bad.

I have a Razer mouse that developed an annoying squeak whenever clicked. They replaced that no problem, no questions etc.

Its good to see people praising companies for their service though as usually the only time you hear people commenting is when they have had a bad experience.

Recently had another RMA with Logitech for one of my older keyboard + mice combo's, this time they only gave me a 33% voucher code. Still very good I know, but why they gave one of my friends a 50% voucher for something similar, I'll never know..

I mean, I do like Logitech:

back light led went on the control pod for my z5500's. email logitech and a week later i'm staring at a whole new set of speakers in my living room!!!

I think logitech are great, my mx1000 mouse i got years ago started to develop charging issues, all they asked from me was to cut the power cable from the charging dock and post it back, i got to keep the mouse which worked fine, and they sent me a brand new replacement dock and an mouse, which has been working fine ever since :)
