Hi guys and good evening, need opinions on the below please.

I'm currently 3 months into my new graduate job in a team of 11 people, the job entails recieving orders from companies and configuring them for install and survey.

One member of our team is currently lowering team morale and not being a team player in a couple of ways. For example today our manager was away from the office so we wern't being monitored.

This member of the team took an hour break instead of half an hour and when they got back proceeded to work on their career development instead of doing the actual job for about 2/3 hours while the rest of us worked (and we have a big backlog of orders). She does a lot of other things such as shouting over others and being rude to other members in the team.

At least 6/7 people in the team are noticing this and it is getting to a point where they are getting annoyed and constantly complaining about her to others.

I myself am also annoyed with her (there are more examples than above), but my question is what is the plan of action, do we as a team talk to her ? do we tell our manager about her lackadaisical work rates today ? should i pull her to the side ?

I think the general vibe is that we don't want to single her out and make her feel like were bullying her (she's the youngest on the team) or be the ones who 'snitch' on her to the manager.

Thanks for reading.

Talk to her first, then if she doesnt improve take it to your manager. Be polite(ish) though and dont just shout at her. I work in a team based environment so i hate it when someone doesn't pull their own worth.

Although opinions may vary

If she's fit, ask her out on a date and then tell her she has a mouth at work like a mongolian wrestlers jockstrap

Peronsally I would just keep my head down and get on with worrying about you, someone else will tell the manager and that someone else has probably been there longer than you.
