I think Kate is far better looking than Diana. I doubt Kate will be such a scheming, manipulative ***** as Diana either.
She was most likely one of the kindest most noble woman on the face of the planet, how can you speak about her in such a negative way :(.

My brother was a guardsman. Said Diana was a ****. But Fergie was much nicer. Always making time to stop and talk with the guards on duty any events or do's she was pulling people onto the floor for a dance, yada yada yada. Diana just moped about. Who could blame her all the same. Charles ffs.

Does that show earnings directly from tourism?

If it was quantifiable then the Royals would be shouting it from the rooftops.

I'm not so sure they would be, the Queen doesn't tend to shout about the work she does as Head of State or the respect she has garnered in that position. You're right though the amount that is brought in by tourism via the Royal Family is largely unquantifiable, it might not be a primary reason for people coming here but for some the appeal of going to a country with a Royal Family may be what sways it over say France.

I give it a maximum of 3 years before he's a womanising alcoholic and she has an 'accident'.

Now this I could be interested in as a use for the Royal Wedding - what odds would you be willing to give and is it just a straight three years after the marriage or do we have to wait a few extra years to see if the alcoholism was hidden at the time?

Work?

Since when did cutting ribbons and getting your staff to prepare lavish banquets count as work?

I can't decide if you're being serious or not, I'm going to assume (hope) not. If you were being serious then it's a woeful misunderstanding of the duties the Queen undertakes as Head of State for the UK and the general respect with which other national leaders tend to hold her in - she's judged a sharp and savvy diplomat by those who deal with her.

In December the Queen will be visiting an RAF base and a school according to her official engagements.

I don't recall the queen walking in areas where land mines were present, please correct me if I am wrong.
