My current pump the x20 has started to struggle with my loop after adding new blocks and a radiator so im looking to get a new pump. Currently i am looking at the Phobya DC12-400 or a second hand laing ddc 18w, Can anybody with experiance with either of the pumps tell me what th performance and sound is like from them. I only ask as i cannot find any reviews of the phobya pump.

I've got a D5 pump. At level setting 4 out of 5, which is pretty powerful, it is audible, but quieter than I expected. I would recommend it, as you sound like you'd run it at level 3 or 4. It's worth it :)

Hi, i had a look at the d5 but its a bit out of my price range as it is but thakyou for the input.

what have you got in your loop?

I have used the DDC 18W and if its correctly fitted/dampened it is quiet but not silent.

Get an 800LPH EK or Phobya pump (They're the same just rebranded), they cost about £37 and are hardly audible at 12v.

Ive got 3x120.1, ek 5850 full cover, northbridge block and a heatkiller 3.0. So is the ddc audible over fans that are limited by a fan controller?

I own the ek 4.0(Jingway DP-1200), more than enough flow running at 7v with 2 triple rads, single rad and a cpu block.
