Free energy saving plug + water widget

great if you like a trickle of water to come out of your shower lol, what utter crap. No thanks :/
 
Modern tech uses hardly any power in standby. Not anywhere as much as is made out. I,m sure it was the gadget show or something similiar did tests and showed this...

But seeing as its free, would be rude not too......
 
The water widget reduces your shower to a dribble. It's just a restrictor to reduce flow.

Disconnected mine and threw it in the bin :D
 
It's not free, you pay for it with your tax $$ :p

We already got sent a flow restrictor in the post last year (govt again), which we dutifully installed. Shower was like a sandblaster before, now it's a bit of a trickle :p But hey, I'm cheap, so I live with it :p

But even a tightwad like me is struggling to see what that socket thing is for? You put your TV in standby and it turns all your household electrical devices off? Sounds odd.
 
I've got one of those plug things. Means I can instantly power off the TV/DVD with my remote without having to get up. You can't use it with a Sky+ box though. Not sure why anyone would pay £20 for one though.

They were giving away this sort of stuff in Debenhams a few weeks ago. The shower thing looks crap I threw that in the bin.
