how to clean sticky wine off off pc componants ?

I think most of its been covered here but if it was me apart from billing the Ex the full amount for the system.
I would strip the whole system down and get at it with either Kitchen towel or Toilet paper and soak up as much of the wine as possible.
done that as soon as she was gone but didnt strip the video card as they donr smell or look like any wine has got on them but iam going to strip the all the water blocks heat sinks flush all the loop drill some more intake holes in the case and inprove temps as i will defo be re using the case and water cooling and if the cards are bust its a good excuse to get a set off 470's :D

as i work for the police, If i came round to a job for that i would be thinking about what a waste of time and money this job would be, when we are need for real jobs on the street, think about that before you go on..... on the other hand what a bitch but this is a lesson to you all make time for you wife,GF and partners ;)....

i did make time for here i took her to the cinemas on the wednesday and she needs to learn she cant do this to people and you cant let people get away with it

managed to get a bottle of ISA and i've tested bothe gpu's and harddrives and they work fine thank god i've came to take the memory apart and a i cant get the heatsinks off as they seem glued on :( and the screws you use to take them apart are all rusty and made off really soft metal and one wont come out so i was thinking would it be okay to wipe them down with the heatsinks on and them test them in the working system or would that risk damage to my second rig ?? and iam going to clean the motherboard tommorrow as ill have to drain the the loop so that will be done tommorrow

quick question how long will it take for the ISA to dry and i can put it back together to test the remaining parts ?

just took the mobo out and had a close look at it and the vrm's look a bit burnt and bubbly so the mobo is going in the bin and iam think about getting the patriot sector 7's on offer below

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-042-PA

at that price they are too good to miss out on

but iam going to clean the boozey ram tonight and test it tommorrow as the offer is on till wednesday

tested the cpu and that works fine same with the psu so only the mobo and possible the ram which is faulty

and i was just thinking as i bought a water block for my mobo which cost me over £100 in its own so i want to get the same one again even though its got no sata 3 or usb 3 and sli only runs at 8x,8x,4x ideas people
