Just about to order this, is there any thing what should be changed or not?,
I still have £140 to add to this build but i dont what tho!. I was thinking about adding another graphic card, 5850 so its crossfire maybe one of you tech guys could point me to the rite thing. I don't need hdd, windows, case as i have all of that and Antec TruePower New Modular 650W Power Supply (that will be coming 2morrow tho) but if i do get another 5850 will that psu be able to power up 2 of them?.
Also i was going to give overclocking ago on this build as well.

do you already have the 5850?
that mobo doesnt do symmetrical crossfire so second card will run at x4 speed.
if you want a crossfire/sli capable board have a look at the msi p55-gd65 and p55-gd80 but these boards dont have the usb3 and sata3.if you want all these goodness then a gigabyte p55a-ud4 or ud6 will have all these.
if you dont have the gpu yet i would suggest a hd6870 as they scale really well in CF.
not sure about cooler fitting with that ram, someone clarify this?
so just to be on the safe side id go for the cheaper corsair xms3

Problem with adding a second card it will limit to 4x rather than 8 or 16x bandwidth.

Have you looked at the MSI which can do dual 8x but does not have usb3 or 6gb/s SATA.

If you do choose another gpu then your PSU will be fine.

no the cooler is excellent,,its just that the ram have tall heatsinks and may not fit under the cooler(or does that only apply to i7 mobos?)

nonono
were not saying that the mobo and ram aint good enough :)
where saying that if you decide to go for CF 5850 that mobo will hinder the performance as the second card will run at x4. You want both cards to run at 8x/8x. The mobo that can run both cards on 8x/8x are the MSI P55-GD65 and P55-GD80 but these mobos dont have the "newer" SATA 3 and USB 3 stuff.
if you would like to have a mobo that can run both cards at 8x/8x and have the sata 3 and usb 3 then the Gigabyte p55a-ud4 or p55a-ud6 is the mobo you want.

ugh cant believe how many times ive said that lol,

Solid state drive. People put their OS on them as they boot faster I think.

EDIT: Wow, too many posts whilst my laptop was on this thread haha.

What are you going to be using the pc for; this will be a big factor in what you should/should not buy no? BTW if you got £140 more to spend a OCZ costs pretty much exactly that
