I really have no idea this year.

She's a new mum and has got pretty much everything she needs. The only thing I can think of is a Kindle, but I don't think she'd use it.

We had a baby 4 weeks ago, so clothes are difficult.

All I can think of is some random jewellery.

My parents - I've got no idea. I'd like to get them a laptop, but thats a bit more than I can afford. :(

Any ideas?

Obligatory oxo tower trip.

On a serious note, go shopping, whatever she picks up and has a good gander at, take a mental note and narrow it down from there.

Get the other half some lipo and your parents a make your own will kit? :p

OR

Some pro pictures of your new addition, can give them to everyone :)

Either a spa thing, or go to something like Body shop and stock up on some bath salts/milk and some rose petals, so your other half can have a relaxing bath.

A day out with her friends or family with you looking after the new addition.

If it is anything like when we had our last little one then she will probably appreciate a day away from baby milk, nappies and crying.

Really depends on her as to what she does on that day out.

Spa
Shopping
Tank driving :D.

If she is feeling well, no scars, stitches, coping with feeding I agree with the above a day at a spa... Be sure to let them know she is a new mum, If she is breastfeeding not a good idea she doesnt want to relax and then hurry home to feed a distressed hungry baby :)
I do think a Kindle would be nice, especially if you get the cover with built in light... She can unwind on the go without turning pages while holding the baby and even in the night she can hold baby and read :) If she enjoys reading and a bit of a giggle and doesnt mind a non-serious book, there is a book called "Diary of a Mad mother to be" by Laura Wolf, Its quite a funny book as new mums can relate to the jokes inside.
Also a family portrait, that would be lovely and certainly cheer her up :)

Also for your parents, without knowing what they like (house/garden/adventure) its hard to not categorise them heh. My dad I cant fail with PC things or R/C helicopters, My mum telescopes, gardening stuff.

She's already got a spa day booked (I will be looking after JD). My parents have a digital photo frame (in a cupboard somewhere), my dad would destroy something with neo magnets.

I am already looking after the little one this weekend so she can go out with friends, she has everything already from the body shop (to keep a heavily pregnant woman happy), and she gets plenty of gentleman's relish!

Good call on the book. She'd like that. We're doing baby calendars for both our parents. Hmm, maybe I should get my dad an RC toy.

Thanks for all the ideas so far.

There's quite a good looking mini R/C chopper on firebox for about 25 quid that has a gyroscope so it's easier to fly, might be worth a look?

My dad has a nice r/c helicopter I'll ask him for the model etc... I had a video of it somewhere. He first bought a cheap one and thought it was amazing, but then paid a little extra and he goes on and on about how its easier... It means nothing to me but he loves the fact that it handles so well even my 7yr old can fly it :D

Im getting him an outdoor chinook is it? for Xmas I am terrible with these names haha

Ok found his copters :D
