Where did the 16:10 (Samsung) monitors go?

Looking at old threads I see discusisons about Samsung T240, 2443BW...
Not sure how they compare in image quality/responsiveness etc. to the newer 16:9 Samsung TN panels I've been looking at...(?) and well, the models I mentioned seem to be hard to find now too.

But are there any newer about 23-24 inch 16:10 monitors for a budget price (max £250), preferably Samsungs, on the market, or any hints on any coming out the coming months?
Would like to find a 24 inches (16:9 or 16:10) or 23 inches (16:10) alternative to the XL2370 (needs to be close to it in performance :)).

Unfortunately pretty much all budget 16:10 monitors have gone to the little monitor shop in the sky :(

Now there only a few 16:10 TN panel monitors on the market - as 16:9 1080p models have taken over.

If you have around £250 to spend and want a good quality 23-24in (and don't mind going for a 16:9) then this E-IPS panel dell is excellent.

The XL2370 you mention is also a very good monitor.

If you really do want a good quality 24in 1200p 16:10 monitor - then this is now one of the cheapest.

That's so irritating... a 23 inch 16:9 screen is just more than an inch higher than my old 17 inch CRT! Since when did we humans get so wide-eyed? ;)

So any clues if any 23/24" 16:10 or other promising 24" monitors are being released in the coming months?
Else I will just have to pick a 16:9... which is so hard when the 23 inch xl2370 seems to outperform all the 24 inchers I've found.

How about the Samsung 2443DW - a quick google seems to suggest a street price of £220-£260, although I can't find anywhere that has it in stock yet.
