To be honest I'm not sure I saw what was wrong with this thread. It didnt interest me hence no input from me I personally dont see the big deal with fitting big grilles.

Ever since that announcement the constant analysis of threads is getting daft. Can't we just chill out and post?
 
I didn't see anything wrong with the thread, just one comment.

And nobody has said this place needs to be a backslapping society or have everyone agree, the amount of jokey comments from people saying that's what it should be are rather silly tbh :p

I don't think anyone should change their posting style, that way the mods can just get on with doing things at the right time and people can be more clear about the expectations :)
 
Just ignore the comments you dont like then rather than get the andrex out and start a big fight about how people are horrid on the internets :p

In fairness you had taken exeption to a comment before I had even seen this thread.

I don't think the poor wording of my post changed the meaning significantly, others seemed to realise what i was getting at pretty quickly.

Btw, change the language on your phone to English (Scottish) and you'll be fine ;)

Clarkeys silly post, yeah.

Phone is set to American actually, so yeah deffo need to change it! Doing the 3x 'x' on the correction doesn't seem to be working either. Stupid thing is, iand isn't even a word so why would it suggest it!

sry it took me so long,

as you can see its pretty much all black and white, the uk spec grille being the only thing not black or white.

As for me defending my post to start with, whilst i do appreciate ppls opinions here, i had already decided to do something about the grille and my question and the whole point of the thread was asking if an irmsher grille was better quality than a cheaper copy.

This is why i didnt listen to those who said dont do it, it was already decided. Even fox doesnt have anything bad to say about it so that can only be good right lol....

Since posting i have been on the corsda d forums ( as told to do by someone here! ) and have found out that my quotes for painting were stupid, and that i can get it sprayed by a body shop for £50ish or attemt it myself for parts costs.

Dont waste your time with any of the aftermarket grills, just get the V colour coded like on the VXR

job done.

£50 for colour coding sounds about right, so not an expensive mod at all.

Please don't troll MrLOL. Those comments are what we are trying to clean motors up of. Thanks. VS.
