My friend has had both hotmail and facebook accounts hacked. Then some txt messages were made to a landline number.

They have now changed the passwords but the user keeps trying to access the hotmail as it keeps blocking her when she logs in 'too many attempts'

anyway to find who this would be???

Oh and the txt to the landlines was personal so someone who obviously knows her. :confused::confused::confused:

That doesn't work if you have a hacker.

You may need to think about purchasing the 'Pro' version of Facebook. I think it's only £19.99 at the moment, but if you hold out, they will probably reduce it over Christmas.

Some texts were made to your friend's landline phone number? How does this relate to the hotmail and facebook passwords? (Aside from coincidental timing?)

Well at least it's blocking the attacker! Has your friend set up all the various security options (secondary email addresses, security questions, etc.) available in HM and FB?

Check the IP address from which the logins occurred? (FB offers this feature I believe, not sure about HM.) Unlikely to give you much useful info though, sorry.
