Hi.
So far the general concensus here seems to be when break up for christmas holiday from work.
If that applied for me it would be 1pm 24th Dec!
I'd say the coke advert is the first true sign of christmas as well
Hi.
So far the general concensus here seems to be when break up for christmas holiday from work.
For me it's for 45 minutes when all the family are sitting around a table at my Mum's house and we're having Christmas dinner.
As soon as that's over Christmas has gone.
This year for the first time ever we're not doing it so it's not going to be christmas at all.
Bah humbug.
My god I thought I was a humbug. So what is the avoidance strategy for this year?

Mid-December when we put up the tree.
Another one for the coke advert here, though I haven't seen the one mentioned so far. Please tell me the trucks are back...
It isn't that I avoid it, it's just that it isn't the same than when I was a kid.
I'll go out on the office Christmas party and I'll take part in Secret Santa and no doubt be forced to have tinsel around my work area but it means nothing to me.
I'll turn up for about 4 parties and I'll definitely be singing Slade's Merry Christmas with my band during every gig in December.
I never feel Christmassy.
i don't agree with christmas.
