N470 GTX silly question

Just got the n470 gtx and one of the fans is not working. Can I assume that this is a fault and not a feature to save energy when it does not need the 2nd fan?

Itook the card out and on closer inspection their was a disconected connector. Sorted now

I did that once with a 1900xtx, changed to aftermarket cooler and didnt realise the fan was off (disconnected) for a while

Was not my mistake it was a connector on the card tucked in the underside of the cover.

Was this the MSI twin Frozr edition by any chance.?

I am sure somebody reported a similar problem some time ago

So they forgot to connect the fan in the factory, that is bad
