Does anyone else imagine songs before they fall asleep

Theres me thinking I was the only one who this happened to :(

Its really insane, I have tried to write lyrics down I have like a bit of paper and pen right next to my bed. So if it happens I can write as rapidly as I can. But it just slips, I had one song where I had written the first few lines then I just completely forgot, I re-read the lines I had written and I just couldn't figure out what I was trying to express.

That said I distictly remember one song not the lyrics but the "video" (if you will) and title which was.... Crocodile on a battlefield :p Basically the video was about some huge war scene to only have this man in a suit with a huge crocodile head warp into the middle and start dancing lol. And no I was not on drugs or had I drunk a lot that evening. Was just stupidly wierd lol

True story right here, don't know how it's relevant but thought I'd put it in here,

My friend Nick, when he was 14 dreamt that he was covered in super noodles.

He then woke up and found he'd **** himself and he was covered in poo.
if there was ever a candidate for a rage comic, this is it. Brilliant!

damn and here was me thinking I was special :(

yes I get this sometimes, it's def music that doesn't exist, sometimes I can even consciously manipulate the music the way I want it to go. Of course I also have no musical talent so when I wake up it's gone

Freddie Mercury used to sleep with a piano by his bed for just this thing. I believe Bohemian Rhapsody came to him in this way (at least part of it) and he immediately wrote it out with the help of his piano so he wouldnt forget it.

Its only happened to me once but i remember being thrilled by the revelation that my subconcious mind was more creative that my concious mind thought it was.

Listen to that innner voice!
