Elder Scrolls 5 rumor

I think it's a pretty safe bet that they're developing the 5th one. They were hardly going to abandon the series. However, it's always nice to hear them say so :p

I remember reading something ages ago on the Bethesda forums which hinted that this would be set in Skyrim. Although highly unlikely, I hope this is more Morrowind than Oblivion.

Fantastic news. Let's just hope they take a tip from Mass Effect and use more than 4 voice actors for this one. :D

I hope they ditch that god awful GameByro engine!

but said the technology was derived from the engine that powered Fallout 3, albeit with significant modifications.

Oh awesome more ****

Doesn't console derp apply here too?

It's made by Blizzard and is a PC exclusive.

I watched my brother play Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion 4 years ago. I didn't find the game very exciting so meh!.

Because as we all know, much like watching films with the sound off and playing board games without the board, watching other people play games is by far the best way to gauge how well you enjoy it.

I'd be very happy to be wrong but I'd heard that it's going to be multiplatform and the controls tailored to a gamepad.

Actually just had a gander, looks like there may well be a console version, however it will be a console port in that it is ported TO consoles, not the other way around, this is Blizzard for gods sake.

Only a matter of time...ports will be going the other way. Blizz will embrace the 'New Brave World' of consolitis soon enough ;)

As for TES 5, it will be dissapointing if it's still essentially a tweaked gamebryo. should have ditched it long ago...

Try oblivion stutter remover that fixes the stutter. The only stutter the gamebroy engine has is the loading of textures on the fly. An ssd sorts that out.
