Hey guys just after a little advice.

I ordered the Toy Story boxset on Blu-Ray from an online retailer (dont know if i can mention them but its not the rainforest one) on the 18th.

Today i received a parcel from them that contained the boxset but on DVD.

After requesting a return they are asking me to pay to return the item

Ive never had to return anything online before, is this normal practice? I find it highly unacceptable that im having to pay for somebody elses mistake.

You Shouldn't have to pay for a return for an incorrect item, they may want you to pay and they will refund the cost once the item is recieved. Check the T&C's.

If its the company that rhymes with 'stay' then they will refund you the postage costs after :)

This is exactly what happened when I returned a £250 mobile phone.

Have you double-checked your order?

Well i thought this at first, i checked my order online and it definatly says blu-ray. Then i checked the item again its definatly a DVD. Even the invoice with the item says blu-ray on it

It does rhyme with stay, i definatly wont be returning anything at my cost. And its just a big inconvience as it was a gift.

Lesson learnt today : use the rainforest or better yet go to a store and collect the item myself. Dont trust other people to do their job. :(
