Can't be bothered to read the whole post so I'll mention from experience.
You will miss her, once you have your time apart you will realise what you've missed. If you find someone else who is amazing or even more amazing than the last then good for you. If you go for a dry spell then your going to regret what you had.

I saw the title and I thought oh no, he must be mad (or she dumped him) and was just about to ask what had happened and were you okay (and what's her number) and then realised you were talking about the old one.
