Hi guys,

I have a Panasonic TXP46G10B and a set of Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 speakers that i currently use with my PC but was wondering if i could connect these speakers to my TV if i wanted as the standard speakers are not that great.

If so how would be the best way about connecting these to my TV and would i need any extra cables?

Thanks :)

If your TV has phono audio out then I would use that. simple set of phono leads is all you will need.

Its how my dad has his panny setup with those very same speakers

Would do this as in theory it should give you slightly better sound but I really doubt you'll notice! Will be a massive improvement over the built in panasonic speakers which are really he only week point in there current range.

Well I hooked them up and got them working and whilst they sound better they are not that loud even at full volume.

Do you think using the audio out would sort this?

Thanks

Dumb question but have you turned up the headphone volume on the sound menu? Mine go bloody loud with both this and the actual speaker volume turned up.
