Got an interview Friday for Costa coffee in my local cinema (Desperate times man!)

Im thinking suit and nice shirt, open necked.

Shall i wear a tie yes or no?

Or is a suit too formal?

Regards,
Dan

A giant coffee bean outfit with a little hat set at a jaunty angle seems appropriate.

Oh - and a cane. And maybe some clown shoes.

*sorry* I'm sure a suit but nothing too formal would be fine.

always wear a tie.

maybe don't bother with suit jacket but always wear a tie.

i don't know why this tie question comes up so often actually. if there's one day you turn up looking impeccable its for a job interview. Anything less to me suggests a slightly half arsed attitude - but maybe that's just me. Don't get me wrong you'll get a job without a tie, but it takes the edge off for the interviewer - "almost perfect" as it were.

My first interviewed job was for a part-time position at Tesco when i was 17 and i wore a suit but no tie and the interviewer asked me why i didn't wear one and told me to wear one in future; and he was right.

Just seems a bit pointless going to all that effort of getting suited and booted too really, what's it to gain?

+1 with the tie.

Though obviously the ultimate way to go would be wearing a mankini somthering yourself in mustard and rolling in coffee beans until you are completely covered. (*Eww bad mental picture!*)
