Someone in another thread mentioned a particularly nasty website - stormfront - and against my better judgement I had a quick look at their site. I hadn't been on it since one of our resident racists was called out on being a member and I guess I'd forgotten just how incredibly racist people can be.

Here's a case in point where apparently those pesky black/yellow/Jewish fellas have been messing with the way things should be and putting non-whites in more and more adverts! But it's not all bad, as one of the posters points out :

If you can bear it, I'd recommend reading the 'Ladies Only' section of the site where the vitrol is - unbelievably - even worse.

It was actually me who mentioned it, was the first thing that came up when someone was talking about the legality of carrying a random keyring weapony thing. Just like you, I've been trapped reading through it since I made that post - I actually simply cannot believe these people exist.
 
I might have a look later as I tend to enjoy reading that sort of garbage.

Although be careful as 'awful' websites I've heard about before actually turned out to be troll nests where each poster plays a role and tries to trap outsiders (a.k.a. those taking it seriously).

In other words, sometimes people aren't really that stupid.
 
Whats worse is that on a tiny occasion they maybe correct.

The only thing that makes me think is how a child is raised with 2 differing backgrounds.

e.g I am an Indian and if I married someone of a differing background how would I raise that child? I'd want to preserve some of my heritage and background.

There is a general disproportionate amount of ethnic minorities in advertising material, isn't there though?

I've not read what they are saying in that thread, they are probably wrong, but then again it isn't like it's a massive revelation that advertising seeks to promote 'diversity' for more credibility. Just look at any sort of handout from a large corporate like Microsoft.
 
Everyone has the right to their own opinion. Morals can be argued all day everyday, you believe what you want to, they believe what they want to. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Agreed, what does the OP expect from visiting a White Pride forum? Really.

It's like saying, "I went on the Golden Wonder forums and they were talking about crisps! Crisps! Ridiculous!"

Most cultures active today are diffusions of different more ancient cultures that pre-date them. India is not a mono-culture in the first place, and I don't need to tell you of the lack of singularity in the word 'England', with its locale in Britain and origin in Saxony, Germany.

Clearly this sentiment only goes so far given that we live in a society of laws and absolutist nation-states.

And even less considering that the first poster to break the sanctity of the personal sphere that you describe is you, telling the original poster 'not to read things he doesn't like'.
 
To be fair, i'm quite happy with multiculturalism. I just hate it rammed in my face with people treating it like i'm going to go to hell if I don't agree with it.

So i'm going to stay with the "they're entitled to their own opinion". They seem to be like the BNP - some decent ideas drowned in a sea of hate and spite.

I didn't really want to go in depth tbh, but you are right.
I use Indian as a general term, I mean more along the lines of the culture of a Sikh Jatt Indian.

TBH I do find it all nonsense, I see no problem with mixing!
While it is a worry it'd never stop me, what happens happens!

And I am hopefully far of having kids so no need to worry! :o
 
In Asia, adverts seem to feature "white looking" asians quiet frequently, unless its for hair loss products :D
