Indeed but still doesnt change the fact that i would have rather seen the pair of them strung up....only have to see in the past yr what Venables has got up to...seems like trying to rehabilitate him hasnt really worked at all.
So you really would liked to have seen two 10 year olds strung up? It was bad enough that they were tried as adults, to have executed them as well would have been quite sickening.
Now, apart from the fact that those ******** were in fact kids themselves, and they certainly knew EXACTLY what they were doing by the way, this also must lead into the fact that even now, one of them has been done for the second time for having kiddie porn on his PC!
So, while everyone has the ability to reform the sad fact remains that they dont often reform at all.
There has been far too many cases when people have served their time and they have come out only to offend again.
No, in my eyes, the moment you turn into a sexual predator of any kind, the moment you do harm unto others, you have crossed the line. You may change, you may become the nicest person in the world, but in my eyes, you simply do not deserve it. You have gone past the line and for that, you need to be removed from society permanently, and prison will simply cost too much.
If you know the price to be paid, then tough.
