As stated in a few posts above you this does involve people. I've had personal experience of having to pay for mistakes made while on the job in similar situations to this, it's not fun knowing that when you thought you were making €80 that day for work you actually ended up owing €20 or whatever!
Go back to the hotel, tell them and if they're nice they'll give you a discount, maybe just charge you half the excess or something. Atleast the bar staff won't get in too much hassle.

That amount of money isn't going to make a huge difference to you if you keep it. Until someone notices the mistake and it's discovered you pocketed the money.
Then it will make a huge difference.
Did five people not have a drink who had a meal (152 vs 157)? OR were you overcharged on the meal by £150 (5 extra people)?
