Can anyone tell me what the Russian would be for 'Lucky for some' please?

It needs to be spoken, so no need to use cyrillic characters.

based on the american movies I've watched it should go something like "laky vor zome"..or am I confusing it with German?

Direct translation would be udachlivoye/viye (singular/plural) dlja nekotorih, but the phrase doesnt mean anything in russian. same as "you where?" doesnt mean anything in english

Is there a more native Russian phrase then that still has a close(ish) meaning to 'lucky for some'?

Without knowing what is the wider purpose of the phrase, swifty55's would be the best. There isn't really a direct equivalent but translated back into english it would be "to the wellbeing of some" which is as close as you're going to get to a direct meaningful translation as its the only one that actually works in russian

yep, russian is always pronounced exactly how its written in cyrillic and phonetic spelling, well its phonetic spelling :)
