Bernie Ecclestone beaten during £200,000 jewellery mugging outside London headquarters

The 80-year-old billionaire was attacked outside the headquarters of his company Formula One Holdings in Knightsbridge, central London.
The businessman and Fabiana Flosi, his Brazilian lawyer girlfriend, were attacked just weeks after the motor-racing entrepreneur suggested the city's streets were more violent than Brazil.
In the latest incident, Mr Ecclestone was punched and kicked by four men who were lying in wait as he arrived at his business headquarters.

Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators, but a police spokesman was pessimistic. "It's not even HD. In this day and age. I know, I couldn't believe it either".
 
As much as I despise the Poison Dwarf, this is still a terrible thing to happen. Four men kicking an 80-year old man on the floor is way OTT.

I'm glad he wasn't badly hurt.
 
Wow, nice chick he scored, young, taller than him and nice looking, what a few billion can do for you :) (or is it his grand daughter in the pic?)
 
Whilst he is a poisonous dwarf, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got a bigger beating because of who he is , I'd never wish it on anyone to to get mugged and beaten up, especially an 80 year old.

As much as I wouldn't wish this on anyone, being a multi-millionaire and being able to afford (but being too tight to have a bodyguard) he had this coming. Fortunately he wasn't hurt too badly.

[edit] Just read the article on the link above.. Looks like it's chicken feed in relation to the beating vs jail time they could've gotten if they had killed him

He says that's BS reporting. Besides a man of his money could easily wear a watch and ring along with his GF's jewerly to make up 200k.
