Another what tyre thread...

Are they the vanilla P7 or the CINTURATO version? They're quite different tyres.

Cinturato, just trying them after a few good reviews curious how they last as the CS3s and F1s don't last long on a diesel Zafira. 6-7k for the F1s and the last set of CS3s lasted just over 10k. I thought the CS3s had lasted longer but on checking the mileage when changing them they didn't last that well.

on my scoob I had toyo proxes t1-r's they were very capable, they were later swapped out for t888's but i can appreciate they aren't run of the mill everyday tyres, i think mine lasted me 4000 miles!

just got conti sports 3 fitted to the ST... much much quieter than the F1's. Cant compare grip at the mo as they are so new they even have the stickers still on them, they are shinier than if i had used tyre dressing on them, and its far too cold to be pushing around on them.

still got 2 F1s here, they got 4mm tread on them after 20k and 3 trackdays... So wear rate wasnt my problem... except on the left side of the car (clockwise tracks).. only 1.6mm left on those after Brands Hatch :o

Funnily enough I had both those tyres and in that size on my 197. They both performed pretty similarly in both wear rates and noise level, with perhaps the CS3 edging the wear rate over the F1. I think I'd be inclined to go for the CS3 given the marginal price difference but you won't go wrong with either, they're both very similar tyres.

Out those two m8 on your 197 which one felt as if it had a stiffer sidewall as in sharper turn in or were they both too similar?

from the very little running ive done in my car id say the CS3s have better turn in than the GSD3's. Its close though. Time will tell.
