facebook and relationships

One of the things I love about being a night owl is you get to see all the drunken fb status updates... before they sober up in the morning and delete them. <3

Because she's probably just your typical online attention seeker, fishing for sympathy on facebook like every other person posting stupid tripe 'Sarah can't believe how bad this hurts', 'Anne is just so shocked that happened'. She doesn't need advice or a friendly ear, she just needs something to do other than wallow in self pity and post on facebook.

Ridiculously it was one of the the things discussion in the break up discussion with my ex :/

He made me click the button 'no longer in a relationship' and I thought as soon as that happens the questions would come.

Unfortunately no one saw it!!! Am still repeating 'the story' to this day!!!

I defend this action. The number of hours I've wasted trying to 'look after' broken girls, only for them to get back with the person that broke them. **** it. They made their bed.

i can only imagine she is in such despair over the relationship that she is blinkered to how she is coming across or maybe she doesn't care? i wouldn't find it cruel though and i would never do it on the scale she does. i say if you're gonna air your private life on facebook, be prepared to take the rough with the smooth

That is another way of looking at it I guess, just thats not something I would ever want to make fun of personaly. But as you say if she want to make a tit head of herself thats her prerogative.

seriously I am with you wingman on the facebook thing, it never ceases to amaze me on the gravitational attraction of posting lifes micro-experience on faceyb, it never gets old and girls in particular love it

I love reading status updates from total imbeciles. It's funny and makes my life seem better :)

There's a lass on my facebook who's boyfriend (she's only been with him for 5 minutes after being engaged to some other knobjockey) is in prison and she's updating everyday ohh I miss my **insert name**! Can't wait to marry him and have a baby with him!! xx

But in more chav text speak. It's ****ing hilarious stuff!

Yeah exactly, its almost godly viewing lifes little miracles on facebook, I mean seriously you can appreciate what it must be like for the oh so great one sitting in heaven shifting through all those "my boyfriend.." "i hate my shoes" "my handbag stole my kitten" etc stories he has to shift through in Outlook 2007 on a hourly basis....
