I think my mate fancies me

I can understand why tbh, i mean sometimes when i look in the mirror i myself get a semi and have to turn away.

So you get turned on by men then? :p

`I` was out tonight and kept sending `my mate` texts saying `I` wanted him there and didn't like the company `I` was with.

`He` sent me a reply after the first one telling `me` that I sounded damn gay, `I` sent back saying don't care blah blah, then he didn't text me after that. Anyway I'm going out with some people in a few days time and he is coming along and I'm actually worried he is not gay and doesn't want me.

I'm thinking the best way to deal with this is embarrass him in front of everyone at how gay `I` sound by reading out `my` text messages. This should hopefully make him realise I'm a bender and also get my own back for making me all `excited` like this.

What do you think?

Fixed for you :D

A mate saying they'd prefer your company to the people he was with, isn't gay. It's actually a compliment to you. (though seeing your replies I can't understand why :p)

You mentioned he sent other messages but haven't told us what they have said, however, has it actually occurred to you that someone might have got his phone and was texting you to wind you up? Wouldn't be the first time someone has done it and definitely won't be the last.

As for confronting him in front of everyone that's just bang out of order. If you are that concerned you should speak to him in private.

If he is a mate you would not embarrass him reading out the txt's.

You would speak to him and ask him what the score is and have a serious chat.

By your earlier comments about embarrassing him, I personally find this pathetic and I could say now you would never even be considered a friend of mine or any of my mates. Gives me the opinion that your a bit of a ****.

if he is a close mate tread carefully, this could be a big deal for him.

It'd also make you a complete ****

Agreed.
Why not just act normal, and be normal.
Gay guys tend not to force themselves upon straight guys, some are a bit in your face but i doubt he's a ragaing rampant homo who'll jump you on the street in front of others.
He's probably making fun of your homophobic feels, just live with it, and it'll quickly pass.
