Need help with a fancy dress costume

Been invited to a fancy dress do and I'm in need of some costume ideas. The theme is movies. I'm after something simple so I don't have to buy a lot of stuff that I'll never wear again but easily recognisable so I don't have to spend the evening explaining the costume to people. Any suggestions?

At the moment I'm leaning towards Shaun, from Shaun of the Dead, but I'm struggling to find the name tag he wears:

I'm sure the rainforest site used to have it but I can't seem to find it there now.

Thoughts

Black suit + tie with white shirt. (if you have a black or dark suit) with Dark sunglasses - men in black.

Long black trench coat and sunglasses - neo from the matrix. Customize with airsoft MP5s for the win.

a friend of mine went out as shaun a few years ago for halloween. He pulled the badge image from the film as David did above, i thought it was a great idea

Shaun works at Foree Electric. This is a reference to Ken Foree, one of the stars of Dawn of the Dead.
