I'm not sure on something here, i bought windows 7 for my laptop, I'm guessing i cant use the same CD key on this system? unless i put my laptop back to vista would that work then?
Also what is the difference between OEM and Retail? Sorry for all the questions :P
Thanks!

OEM is tied to your motherboard ( if your motherboard fails and you buy a new mobo you can call Microsoft to activate it again). Retail is not tied to your mobo and therefor you can install retail on any new computer you buy. If you just have one license then you can only legally use that license on one PC, otherwise it automatically gets transfered when you activate it on the new PC.

As for OEM, it's what computer builder retailers install by default on a pc system, unless the user has requested ( bought ) the retail version.

In regards to your graphics card choice, if your waiting til christmas to buy it, its definitely worth looking to see how much the 570GTX cards actually launch at price wise as they will really squeeze the price of the previous generation of nvidia cards!
