Episodes From Liberty City - Will my PC run it ok?

I want to give these two games a bash, but not sure whether it'll be worth it.

My PC spec is as follows:

-Q6600 @ 3.0GHz
-HD4870 1GB @ stock
-4GB PC8500

Is it even worth bothering with? What kind of FPS could I expect with reasonable settings?

I have been playing it on my [email protected], Radeon 5850, 3GB Corsair 800MHz DDR2 ram. They run fine although not sure how many fps as I haven't checked.
The game does feel a heavy console port though

Yes! It'll be fine

FPS depends entirely on settings but you should be able to run 1920*1200 with ease and a large amount of detail

It'll run well as it for some reason (bad port/optimisation/whatever) loves quads core processors

Just in case it does effect you, it doesn't work on XP.

Ballad of Gay Tony is very very good, lost and the damned is...meh.

I have the same spec but my 4870 is 512mb

My textures are locked at the medium setting, probably because I have the 512mb version though, youre probably fine.

I run it with a Q6600 3.2GHz and HD 5770. You'll be able to run it fine

No, but the GTA IV engine runs pants (with stuttering) on almost any spec it seems. Luck of the draw how bad yours is.

True. I forgot to mention in my post earlier that even though it runs fine on my [email protected], the game does stutter occassionally especially when turning left or right quickly during driving.
