I have tonnes of old Dandy/Beano/Buster annuals from the late 1980s/early 90s and want to get rid of them... Local charity shop didn't seem interested, and I've noticed that some people sell them for a few quid on eBay, but for the small sums involved it hardly seems worth my time.

Is there anywhere else I can consider before I just take them all to the recycling place?

Cheers :)

Look up the peadiatrics ward at your local hospital. They'll love some comics I'm sure.

Also peadiatricians love them as well for their surgeries.

I had the same thing too... loads of old Batman comics. Posted here, no-one seemed to want them. I'd give them away free, too.

Unless they're rare ones, old ones and kept in really good condition I doubt people want them.

To be fair if you don't know their valuation then start taking lots of photos and create a listing anyway. Somebody might want them you never know.

I looked up a few, some seem to go for around £12-15 or so (the special edition ones) but it just doesn't seem worth the hassle of making all the listings. As they're so heavy as a job lot, sending them via mail would be a right royal PITA. :(
