***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

Ok I've now completed all of the beginner and amateur races. I've made a good start on the professional races but need Lupo and a Lamborghini to get through those races. I can offer my Chevrolet SSR '03 with 425+ BHP. My psn id is the same as my username.

Edit: My best car is a Buick Special 62 modified to 845BHP.

When buying a car for a race, how are you supposed to remember the list of cars required? half the time i can't find one you need
At the race screen, go to the bottom right garage button, I think if you select it there it only shows the cars you can use instead off all cars.

Got a lupo GTI for you

Yeh but what I'm saying is, when you haven't got a car that can be used, you have to try and remember the list of required cars when buying one from the showroom :p

Do you find the Buick Special hard to control? It is the only car I've managed to roll, which was useful as there is a trophy for it lol!

I love that car, I thought it'd be some fat heavy thing, I didn't look at the weight, but used it in the American Muscle car series and it's a right laugh, all that HP and under 1500Kg! lovely engine note too!

Where did you roll it, I need to give that a go, even if just for the trophy!

Just smack it into any wall at high speed should roll it, ideally on a corner, if it doesn't I'll find the track I did it on.

True, at least when you view the garage in the race menu it only shows up the ones that meet the requirements. If you can't remember something that simple for that short amount of time, I suggest Brain Training on the DS! ;)

God the Mazda Furai Concept '08 looks like some sort of awesome batmobile!

I would suggest pen and paper lol :p

I posted a few pages back about that video, it's not level 40 damage, you can do the same damage at any level with a rally car, I've done that below level 20 it just takes a lot of crashing. :p
